Saturday, April 15 9 am – 5 pm Permaculture designs can transform small city lots into amazingly productive areas. This program will highlight small permaculture lots and outline strategies for making the most of small areas. It will also cover how to create and maintain successful garden areas. The workshop will be held at Lillie House Permaculture in Kalamazoo. Lunch is included. Members $85 | Non-Members $105

Hastings Free Methodist Church invites the community to their Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 15tj at 10am rain or shine.  Kids 5th grade and under can hunt the 5000 eggs,with a chance to win a bicycles and many other prizes.  Hastings Free Methodist Church is located at 2635 N. You are also invited to the Good Friday Service Friday April 14th at 12pm and 6pm. April 16th Easter Sunday breakfast will be served from  9:15 to 10:15 and the Easter Service begins at 10:30am.

Easter Egg Hunt 2017 !! Saturday April 15, at 11:00 am (rain or shine) at the Calvin Hill Park-located behind the Middleville United Methodist Church 111 Church Street The hunt is for children ages 3-11. Bring your camera and capture a photo with the Easter Bunny! Children participating in the hunt will receive a goody bag! Children under age 3 will receive a small surprise! April is the Month of the Military Child, an annual awareness campaign that recognizes the sacrifices made by military families and their children. To show support of children who are military-connected, the MSU Extension 4-H Military Family Program is asking residents throughout Michigan to “PURPLE UP” on April 15 by wearing purple in support of and thanks to military children for their sacrifices and strength. Spread the word to other organizations, businesses, any connections you have to make this a huge community event!
