G.R. Cider Week FestivaL

the Michigan Cider Association announces Cider Week GR April 17th -22nd.  The Week long celebration brings hard cider makers from around the world to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cider Week GR coincides with the world's largest cider judging competition, the 12th annual Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition this competition is closed to the public....the inaufural Cider Week GR culminates with the first Cider Festival and they invite you to attend the Festival on the Blude Bridge in Grand Rapids on Saturday April 22nd from 2pm to 7pm.  The Festival features cider makers from around Michigan.  Attendees willl enjoy the line-up of local music and food. Community Breakfast at Emmanuel

Emmanuel Episcopal Church located at 315 W. Center Street in Hastings invites you to breakfast every Saturday! Serving from 8:00am to 9:30am in the Parish house. You will always find eggs, breakfast meat, Breakfast potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit, breakfast bars, pancakes or French toast or biscuits and gravy, juice and plenty of coffee. Earth Day Service Project: Garlic Mustard Pull

From 9:00AM to 11:00AM

Saturday, April 22 9 – 11 am Celebrate Earth Day at the Institute! Join Institute staff in helping to protect the Little Grand Canyon from invasive garlic mustard. Removing this weed helps to maintain the great diversity of the woodlands along the ravine. An optional hike through the ravine will be offered after the service project. Sturdy shoes and gloves are suggested. FREE

Hasstings Dog Park Million Dog March Fund Raiser

Hastings Dog Park is holding their annual Million Dog March today, April 22nd at 9am.

Hastings Schools Mother/Son Sportahon Dance

7:00PM

Hastings Area Schools will hold a Mother (mother figure) Son Sportathon Dance!  All boys preschool and up are welcome!  There will be lots of fun, games, DJ and Snacks!  Saturday, April 22nd at the Hastings High School Community Center from 7 to 8:30pm.   Photo Session from 6 to 7:30pm with Bailey Lester (check & cash accepted).  Jon Anderson-DJ.  Wear your favorite team shirt or jersey. Tickets are $5 in advance available at all Hastings Area Schools and Printing Plus-J-Ad Graphics Gray Barn. At the Door Tickets are $8.00  Proceeds support the Hasting High School Senior Party.
