Hastings- Mother's Day 5k Run/Walk & Stroll

9:00AM

Mother's day 5k Run/Walk and Stroll is Sunday May 14th at the Hastings High School, 520 W. South Street at 9am. This family friendly event begins with a 5k run/walk, timed by Prime NRG LLC, followed by a two lap stroll around the track for our special moms and family members who are not read for th full 5k. Every mom will receive a flower at the end of the race. T-Shirts available to participants who pre-register.  Pre Registration fee for the 5k run/walk and includes a shirt is $15 for youth and $25 for adult.  Day of 5k, (no shirt) fee is $20 youth and $30 Adult.

2 lap walk free.  Proceeds from this event support the 2017 Senior Class Party.

Jazz Mass @ Emmanuel Episcopal Church Hastings

Emmanuel Episcopal Church located in Hastings at 315 W. Center Street, invites you to join us for a Jazz Mass Sunday, April 30th at 10:00a.m.  Music of the Chicago Jazz Mass by Andy Tecson will be presented by Emmanuel Choir under the direction of Mak Doster.

Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival

It's the last day of the 77th Annual Vermontville Syrup Festival, enjoy a pancake breakfast with real maple syrup serving from 7:30am til 1:30pm at the Fire Station by the Maple Valley Band Boosters.

Maple Syrup exhibits  at Maple Manor will be open all day along with woodworking demonstrations.

Saw Mill & Various displays near the Historic Museum.

10am to 4pm Vermontville Jr. Farmers 4-H group Petting Zoo near Maple Manor

10am to 4pm Arts & Crafts at Maplewood School.

10am to 4pm Flea Market near Methodist Church

11am Lions Club BBQ Chicken Dinner in front of Ace Auto

12p-6pm $16 all you can ride Mid America Shows in downtown

1pm Introduction of Queen on Main Stage

1pm Arm Wrestling, egg toss and other games infront of Main Stage

1-5pm Historical Museum open.
