Hastings police Officers Arrested a male suspect after he broke into a house on east state street.

The owner told police he came into the house  and fled when he discovered someone was in the house at the time.  The owner informed police the suspect went out the door and behind a building in the alley where he was arrested and taken to jail on a charge of breaking and entering.
