Ilene Anna Seeber
Age 95,of Hastings passed away on March 18, 2016 in Middleville, Michigan. She was born on December 21, 1920 to John Charles and Nellie Belle (Bagley) Cappon in Prairieville, Michigan. She loved gardening, playing bridge, or cards of any kind, with family and friends, traveled and did volunteer work at Spectrum Pennock Hospital. She enjoyed walking and walked the Mackinac Bridge when she was 76 years old. She was an avid bowler. 

Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband Frank Schiepek Sr., husband of 28 years Leo Seeber, great granddaughter Sonia Schiepek and brother Dale Cappon. 

She is survived by her children Frank (Carol) Schiepek, John (Judy) Seeber, Ruth Ann (Kenneth) Terpening, Joseph (Denise) Seeber, and James (Patricia) Seeber, grandsons Scott Schiepek, Chris Schiepek, Jason (Allison) Terpening, Michael (Nicole) Seeber, granddaughters Tracy (Jeff) Bernard, Jan Wellington, Christina Seeber, and Elizabeth Seeber, great grandsons Alex Potter and Brendyn Gavin, great granddaughters Laura Bernard, Cara Wellington, and Sophia Schiepek, great great granddaughter Evona Potter, and many nieces and nephews. 

There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30A.M. at Girrbach Funeral Home 328 S. Broadway, Hastings, MI 49058 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Church 805 S. Jefferson, Hastings, MI 49058.
