The Hastings Summerfest is an annual summer festival held in Downtown Hastings by the Barry County Chamber of Commerce Summerfest Committee. The event features arts & crafts vendors on the courthouse lawn, concessions, free trolley rides, children’s activities, a softball tournament, 3-on-3 basketball, 5K run, parade on Sat., car show on Sunday, live entertainment and a refreshment tent. The Hastings Fire Department will be serving a Pancake Breakfast Saturday of Summerfest, Aug. 29th, 7am to 11am. Come in and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast, meet the members of the Department and see the apparatus/equipment housed in your local Fire Station.

Corewell Health Pennock Summerfest Run 5K at 8am at the Thornapple Plaza along with a free kids 1 mile Fun Run @ 9am. Weightlifting Competition open to ages 16 & up. the Summerfest Grand Parade theme Happy Birthday America line up at 10am on East State Street. You'll Find Arts & Crafts on the Courthouse Lawn 10am-6pm. Live Entertainment at the Spray Plaza & Thornapple Plaza.
