Barry County Humane Society will offer a FREE VACCINE & MICROCHIP Clinic for Cats & Dogs Saturday, Sept. 19th from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Barry Enrichment Center in Hastings. Rabies & microchiops will be available as well as FVRCP for cats and DHLPP of dogs. The clinic also includes an initial exam and dental assessment.
Appointments are nor required, Animals and owners will be served on a first-come, first serve basis.

Celebrate the many cultures that make Barry County such a special place. The Barry County Ethnic Food Fest is hosted by Hastings Church of the Nazarene, Emmanuel Episcopal Church and the Roundtable Companion for Racial Equity. Come sample a variety of savory dishes and sweet treats, while discovering new flavors and learning the stories and traditions behind the food. Suggested donations is $10 per person. And the Festival is Sept. 19th from 11am til 2pm.

The Hastings Athletic Boosters invite the community to the Honor Game Friday Sept. 18th at 7pm at Hastings High School Johnson Field. Wear your Red, White & Blue to honor those that serve and have served. Those who serve and have served will get into the game free and receive a food voucher for the Concession Stand. A Ceremony will be held at the Flag Pole & The Hastings Athletic Boosters & Courtside Screen Printing will have limited Community Red White & Blue T-shirts for sale at the Courtside Table. You may purchase a t-shirt for a veteran or for yourself.
