After serving the City of Hastings since 1995 Detective Sergeant Eric Ingram will retire January 20, 2020.  Officer  Karen Larson is being promoted to Detective Sergeant to take over for retiring Detective Ingram.

The retirement list included Sergeant Dennis Lajcak who joined the Hastings Police Department in 1998. Taking his place is Officer Nate Pickett promoted to a road Patrol Sergeant.  And

Officer Julissa Kelly was also promoted to a road Patrol Sergeant.
