Firefighters in the Delton area were called Tuesday afternoon to a structure fire at 5100 Osborne Road near south Kellogg School Road, between Delton and Hickory Corners.

One Prairieville Township Fire Department firefighter was taken to a Kalamazoo Hospital after falling off a ladder or roof at the scene. No information is yet available about how serious his injuries were. The Prairieville Department was called in to help the Delton Fire Department douse the fire.

The cause of the fire and extent of damage to the home is still being determined.
