Murder suspect Jon Otis Burnett is headed to Barry County Circuit following two days of a preliminary examination in Court.

Burnett is charged in a double homicide in Orangerville township this past June 21st.

Burnett lived in the area of the murders as did the first victim 73 year old Gary L. Peake from Plainwell.

The second victim is 21 year old Bryce N. DeGood from Haslett.

Burnett is also being charged with attacking his wife, trying to  strangle her.

The shootings  happened near Lindsey and Lewis roads northwest of Delton.
