Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has appointed Vicky Alspaugh as Barry County's new Circuit Judge Replacing Judge Amy McDowell who resigned October 15th.

Alspaugh's term will begin January 1, 2020 and expire at noon January 1, 2021.

To run for a full six year term she will be required to run for re-election in November 2020.
