Gas Spill

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 22 year old Dorr resident leaving the gas pump at the Sunoco gas station on South Division Thursday morning struck the nozzle of a fuel delivery truck, resulting in a spill of more than 100 gallons of gasoline on the concrete.  The spill was contained and did not reach any drains. Officers say the supplier, Van Manen Oil, quickly responsed and cleaned up the spill before any ground contamination occurred.  The driver was cited fore careless driving.
