Barry County Festival of Trees, a display of themed decorated trees by area businesses and organizations, was presented by the Gilmore Car Museum and the Barry County Chamber of Commerce throughout December with the public voting for their favorite trees by donating canned goods. 

The winner of the  Festival of Trees decorating competition is The Barry County Libraries!   They had a total of 715 non perishable food items under their tree.  The second runner-up is Carpenter Gravel with 540, and Third place goes to The Education Station with 484. 

All trees received votes and the total food items counted is 5,075.  This is up from last year.  The real winners are families who benefit from the restocked Barry County food pantry.
