The Michigan Department of Natural Resources in Allegan County is asking for tips from the public after finding some 500 tires dumped in a number of locations in and near the State Game Area.
More than 300 tires were discovered on Wednesday by local residents who walk in the state game area. More piles have been located in and near the state game area, as well as along the roads between Allegan and Fennville.
Anyone with information about the tires is asked to call the DNR at 1-800-292-7800 and remain anonymous.
