Saturday afternoon, April 24, Barry County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to M 66 Hwy and M 79 Hwy for a two car fatal accident. 

 

The preliminary investigation shows the westbound vehicle, a 2012 Chrysler, disregarded the stop sign at M 79 Hwy and was hit by a northbound vehicle, a 2000 Jeep. The driver of the westbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.  The deceased driver was identified as 18 year old, Michael Moskun, from Bellevue, MI.

 

The other driver and all other occupants were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

 

This crash remains under investigation.
