The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a 2-vehicle crash that resulted in two fatalities. The crash occurred around 9:54 a.m. Friday on Cronk Hwy west of Battle Creek Hwy in Bellevue Township. Two occupants of a Ford Equinox suffered fatal injuries. They are identified as Troy Bass, 53-years-old, from Vermontville and Loralie Hunter, 71-years-old, from Bellevue. A third occupant from that vehicle is in critical condition. The driver of a pickup truck involved in the crash had minor injuries.
Detectives continue to investigate this incident.
