Just before 4:00 PM Friday afternoon the Hastings Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. bicycle accident at the intersection of N. Michigan Ave and Apple st. A vehicle driven by a 51 year old female from Hastings was turning north onto Michigan Ave and collided with a 30 year old female from Hastings that was travelling south crossing the roadway on a bicycle. The victim was assessed for injuries at the scene and transported to Spectrum Health Pennock with reported minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
