Michigan State Police Seize Voting Machine in Investigations

State Police raided the office of Barry County's Irving township as part of an investigation into reports of unauthorized access to voting machines after the 2020 elections.

One tabulator was seized in Irving township on Friday, April 29th according to Barry County Clerk Pam Palmer.

In February, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson asked the state's attorney general and state police to investigate reports of an "unnamed third party" gaining unauthorized access to voting technology in Roscommon County.

State Police lt. Derrick Carroll said the inquiry had expanded to more counties, including Irving, after being notified of other election systems breaches.
