On Tuesday just after 2:00PM, deputies from the Allegan County Sheriffs Office responded to a personal injury crash on 10th St south of 102nd Ave in Gun Plain Township. A northbound Chevrolet Silverado had been turning into a private drive and drove into the path of a southbound Honda motorcycle. Preliminary investigation shows that the southbound motorcycle had the right of way and had no way of avoiding the collision. The motorcycle operator, a 51 year old Otsego man, is currently listed in critical condition at Bronson Hospital. The driver of the Silverado was a 26 year old Plainwell man. At this time, it does not appear that speed or alcohol were a factor, however, the crash remains under investigation.
