In Tuesday’s school elections voters in the Thornapple Kellogg district approved an 18 mill non-homestead operating renewal, 65% to 35%.
Voters also passed operating millage requests in the Wayland, Pennfield, and Hamilton school districts.
Bond proposal results were mixed, as Lowell district voters passed a $104-million dollar bond request to modernize facilities. Saranac voters passed their bond request, but bond proposals in the Plainwell, Harper Creek, and Marshall districts were defeated.
