Freeport Fire Dept. responded Tuesday morning to a home fire in the 2400 block of Woodschool Road.  Smoke and flames were seen coming from the home due to a Kitchen fire that spread quickly.  The resident reportedly exited safely and EMS treated & transported the resident to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
