Michigan State Police Troopers from Hastings were called to a fatal car crash involving a car that had been stolen in Battle Creek.

Troopers said the crash occured  near Anders road in Hope Township shortly before 4:00-pm where they found a 58 year old man dead in a chevy Impala.

The driver lost control, went through a hay field and crashed in some trees.

Battle Creek Police reported the car stolen from a gas station on North Avenue around 11:30 Sunday morning.
