Peter Frederick Snore, age 82 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on January 19, 2022.  Peter was born on July 24, 1939, in Nashville, Michigan, the son of Frank and Ethel (Freeman) Snore.

 

Peter attended Nashville Public Schools.  He worked for Fisher Body, and the City of Hastings Department of Public Works, retiring in 1994.  On January 5, 1963, Peter married JoAnne K. Eichenauer.  He proudly served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged in November 1964.

 

Peter enjoyed softball, hill climbing, hunting, fishing, camping, going out to eat with friends and watching sports.

 

Peter was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ethel Snore, infant son Robert Duane Snore, sister and brother-in-law Betty and Richard Goodenough, and sister-in-law Connie Snore.

 

He is survived by his sons Randy (Angie) Snore, Rod (Renee’) Snore, grandchildren Ashton and Wayne; Chelsea (Andy) Robins, Shane (Kinsey) Madden, Chase (Maddy) Snore, Amber and Tom, Kadie and Nick, brothers Raymond (Annette) Snore and Johnny Snore, several nephews, nieces and great-grandchildren, and special friend Linda Vanheuvelen.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S Broadway; Hastings, MI  49058, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be at Irving Township Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the Hastings American Legion Post 45 and a luncheon to follow at Thornapple Valley Church, 2750 S. M-43, Hastings, MI 49058.
