Beverly Jean Overbeck, age 85, of Woodland, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022.

 

Beverly was born December 5, 1936 to Harold and Pearl (Thorn) Alderink in Hastings, MI.  Bev was a very kind and generous woman, who loved to dance and play cards with friends and family.  She loved her garden, especially her flowers.  

 

Beverly is survived by; children Sherry (Brad) McPhall, James (Laurie) Overbeck Jr., Daniel Overbeck, Arnold (Dawn) Overbeck, Mickey (Stephanie Kay) Overbeck, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild.  

 

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Overbeck Sr., brother Bruce Alderink, and special friend Bob Humphrey.

 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5pm until 8pm at Koops Funeral Chapel 935 4th Ave, Lake Odessa, MI 48849.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 1pm at the Lakewood United Methodist Church, 10265 Brown, Lake Odessa, MI 48849.

 

Donations in Bev's name should be given to the Lakewood United Methodist Church.
